Bio

Born in Dublin, Texas but raised in small town Stephenville, Texas, the best part of growing up was the annual Miller vacation which always included 1000's of miles of driving west of the Mississippi River camping in state and national parks.  By the time I graduated from Stephenville High School, I had visited or camped in every national monument and park west of the Mississippi (except in Alaska and Hawaii).  Most years, I got to take along a good friend.  Great memories.  The beginning of wanderlust.  Life at Lubbock Christian College in Lubbock, Texas was mostly studying and graduating cum laude with my BA in Greek and Hebrew.  Like Mac Davis, I couldn't wait to see Lubbock in my rear view mirror, so I joined the Army.

Twenty years and 13 days in the Army.  Ft. Leonard Wood, Goodfellow AFB San Angelo,Tx, Ft. Devens, Ft. Bliss, Augsburg FRG, Homestead AFB, NAS Boca Chica, Key West, back to San Angelo, Camp Casey Korea, Arlington Hall Station Virginia, Ft. Belvoir, Panama, Ft. Carson.  As a member of the Army Security Agency, later the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command, most of what I did was and remains classified.  The most memorable moment of my career was marrying my wonderful bride of 21 years.

After I grew up and retired from the military, I began a career in computers helping to establish Our Town Internet Service in Stephenville, working with McAfee Antivirus and Intrusion computer security companies.  Branching out on my own, I now work on personal computers and small business websites.

Success in your profession; happiness and love in marriage and family life; excellence in past-times, like golf; ...are journeys...not destinations.
